Morse code is the old-new deal and it origination dates back to the 18th century. Morse code systems was invented in the United States by American artist and inventor Samuel F.B. Morse during the 1830s for electrical telegraphy. A variant called the International Morse Code was devised by a conference of European nations in 1851 to account for letters with diacritic marks. Morse code was developed so that operators could translate the indentations marked on the paper tape into text messages. In his earliest design for a code, Morse had planned to transmit only numerals, and to use a codebook to look up each word according to the number which had been sent. It was originally intended to transmit messages through telegraph wires. How complicated is that!!! Up for fun? Now you and your friends have a secret communication code to learn. Watch for part 2. |
