Here Is A Question To Consider: If The Sun Lights The Earth, Then Why Is Space Dark? by Starboy(m): Wed 17, November, 2021
Here's a question to consider: if the sun lights the earth, then why is space dark?

Let's explore:

We actually believe we can see light, but we technically can't. Take a room as an instance, there are dust particles floating in the air, and these particles, by reflecting more light causes the room to appear brighter.

To perceive brightness, two things are required.

1. Light, and
2. Something to reflect the light to our eyes.

Outer space only has one of those, light, but it's a vacuum out there, with nothing to reflect the light.

Light without object is dark, and space is dark for this reason.
