WHY YORUBAS CALL POLICE “OLOPAA” by Talker(m): Sat 22, January, 2022
Throwback to the years before independence, The then Niger Area now modern day Nigeria police force were not allowed to use guns but sticks to enforce the law which brought about the name “Olopaa” from the Yorubas which translates to “Person with a stick”.
