Capybaras are not only the largest rodents on earth, they are also one of the most social animal you can find in the wild.

Capybaras are so social that they almost have no enemy. They accommodate and allow other animals to flock around and benefit from them.

Capybaras are warm-blooded. Other animals that hang out with them can get comfortable warmth.

They also give warning calls when predators are coming. That way, other animals get security intelligence from them.

Capybaras, have been seen breastfeeding little puppies and making themselves available as a pillow for monkeys.

Birds that hang around capybaras get too feed on the thicks and insects in hiding in the fur of the capybaras.


Within their family, capybaras live in a group. It's hard to find a capybara that lives outside its group. This perhaps, explains their social behaviour.
