|Never Say How Was Your Night, See The Correct English by Talker(m): Wed 11, May, 2022|
Did you know?
"How was your night?" is a greeting that has s&exu.al connotation in standard English.
Native English speakers will never greet someone in the morning saying, "how was your night?",
Because it's equal to asking the person: "Did you had a good s+e.x last night?"
Fellow Nigerians, next time you want to greet someone in the morning, say: Did you sleep well?, "Hope you had a good sleep?", etc. Don't say "How was your night?"
Except, of course, you know the person had "something light" last night and you want the full "gist". 🤧
